There is no change in our ST bearish view as the technical readings remained in negative zone. A breach below 1,611 would see the index fall to test the psychological support at 1,600. The strong economic data from both jobless claims and inflation rate signalling a high likelihood of interest rate hike next month sent Wall Street higher as the Dow added 0.2%.
FBM KLCI: 1,626.77 pts (-0.86pts, -0.05%)
The FBM KLCI closed lower but managed pare most of its intraday losses yesterday on late buying support amongst selective index heavyweights. The immediate support level is located around the 1,610 level.
Crude Palm Oil: RM2,855 (+RM21, +0.74%)
Crude palm oil prices extended its gains after the weakness in Ringgit boosted the export outlook. The RM3,000 level will serve as the immediate resistance level.
WTI Crude Oil: $45.57 (-$0.24, -0.45%)
Crude oil prices gave up its intraday gains to extend its losses on rising inventories level. Crude oil prices might continue to hover between US$43-US$46 levels.
Gold: $1,224.99 (-$3.74, -1.01%)
Gold prices extended its losses, pressured by the stronger US Dollar coupled with the possibility of interest rate hike in December. Gold prices might trade at a range bound mode between US$1,200-US$1,250.

1⃣ MRCB is letting go of a one-acre plot of land to Mass Rapid Transit Corp SB for RM180m due to concerns over its proximity to the construction of the MRT Line 2.
Financial Result Highlight
YTL CORP’s net profit fell 25% to RM150.33m in 1QFY17, as it saw lower profit contribution from all but 2 of its 7 business segments.
GAS MSIA’s net profit climbed 28.1% to RM43.2m in 3QFY16, as it saw higher gross profit from more gas sold.
TAMBUN’s net profit rose to RM25.23m in 3QFY16 (up 6.08%), boosted by higher other income and lower administrative expenses.
ANN JOO recorded a net profit of RM22.92m (4.58 sen/share) for 3QFY16, its third profitable quarter in a row.
GUOCOLAND saw its 1QFY17 falling close to 99% y-o-y to RM265k (0.04 sen/share), mainly because it had recorded a fair value gain of some RM16.7m in the previous year.
E&O, which plans to launch an estimated RM205m worth of properties, saw the weaker ringgit take a toll on its earnings for 2QFY17. It net profit fell 84.3% to RM3.83m.

The FBMKLCI closed lower at -0.86 point or -0.05% to close at 1626.77.
FBMKLCI remain slightly unchanged and supported. But our RM remain weak and overall sentiment slightly weak.
DJIA not much movement after move to new high, as long as did not crashing way down from where it spike, then we expect market wont big shake too much.
