BURSA MALAYSIA MARKET IDEAS WEDNESDAY (16/11/2016):

FBMKLCI TRUMP WIN NOT ALL WORST FOR ASIAN

Dear All,

The FBMKLCI closed higher at +13.92 point or +0.86% to close at 1630.56.

FBMKLCI stage a strong rebound cover back mostly yesterday losses. Thanks to our RM did not falling further. As long as RM within below RM 4.40, mostly our index will not break 1600 so easily.

DJIA already too bullish, any correction without big fall will not impact much to market. Therefore we not too worry about it unless really big crashing fall breaking 18500, 18000.

Many of the people worried that TPPA will be cancel after TRUMP win. I have not much consent as TPPA not even start yet, our market have been doing fine without TPPA and goreng tetap goreng already more than a year after TPPA being introduce.

As long as our market fundamentally, GDP, did not erode become too terrible, seems that our market still can goreng individually.

Just like yesterday many stock rebounded strongly, we also manage to catch rebound stock like GADANG, AWC, CENTURY, and many more in our premium group call.

Other strong moving that have been long following are like PESONA, WCT, SENDAI, EKOVEST which still looking good.

Once we strike, we can be quite active just like yesterday, so do follow us closely to see what is going on with the market.

Reuters-U.S. stocks closed little changed on Monday after rising dramatically the week before and a decline in the technology sector offset a steep rise in financial stocks as investors bet on higher interest rates.

After choppy trading late in the session, the Dow ended at a record high while the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite dipped.

“I think all we’re doing is trimming our sails a little from the violently positive rally we had post-election results last week,” said Mark Luschini, chief investment strategist at Janney Montgomery Scott in Philadelphia.

The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite has been under pressure since the Nov. 8 election as investors poured money into sectors such as financials, industrials and energy, which are seen benefiting from President-elect Donald Trump’s policies.

The financial index rose 2.3 percent, with banks including Bank of America JPMorgan providing the biggest boost. The index has risen 10.8 percent since the election on hopes of deregulation and higher interest rates.

While the financial rally gained steam, the S&P technology index closed down 1.7 percent, leading the decliners. The index has fallen 3 percent since the election.

Apple fell 2.5 percent and weighed the most on the Nasdaq and the S&P 500, followed by Facebook and Microsoft.

Since technology valuations have soared in recent years, investors are switching money to sectors such as banks, which has been relatively cheaper but should now benefit from rising interest rates, said Kim Forrest, senior equity research analyst at Fort Pitt Capital Group in Pittsburgh.

Investors have been betting technology will look relatively less attractive if Trump lives up to his promise to review regulation in healthcare and financial sectors and to increase government spending on infrastructure to boost economic growth.

“If growth becomes more even and available, we may see a continuation of rotation into lower-valuation, more cyclical businesses and out of high-valuation growth stocks like technology,” said James Abate, chief investment officer at Centre Asset Management in New York.

The Dow Jones industrial average closed up 21.03 points, or 0.11 percent, to 18,868.69, the S&P 500 lost 0.25 points, or 0.01 percent, to 2,164.2 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 18.72 points, or 0.36 percent, to 5,218.40.

SSteel result just out, wanna make some money from intraday trading?

Ssteel has just release their quarterly result, EPS 4.6 is good but not very surprising, can try to perform FIFO if it doesn’t gap up too high. If Ssteel buying interests are very strong, quantities queued there are intended to be breaking through, maybe will create short term steel sentiments, bringing up other steel stock such as : Melewar, Mycron, Cscstel , Masteel and etc…

Trade carefully because, SEA Stock Market and currencies are poorly perform, many people are staying away from stock market temporarily, it’s very difficult to perform FIFO

Other momentum TRADING stocks can try to monitor, find good entry price: sendai,

FBMKLCI CONTINUE FALL ON FOREIGN FUND RUN AWAY

Dear All,

The FBMKLCI closed lower at -17.55 point or -1.07% to close at 1616.64.

FBMKLCI continue to fall as market worried on RM weakening. Closing low if tomorrow continue to fall and break 1600 then will breaking one year support then we may revisit 1500. Without breaking, then rebound shall happen as our local fund still strongly supporting.

DJIA remain very bullish, we not yet see sign of crashing, but do also be careful. We don’t know when Trump start his presidency, the market will slow down or not.

We only spotted a few strong moving stock, therefore short term are not suitable for now.
